Membership categories

ClinicsDirectory.com (CDC) is a directory of licensed clinicians which is open to register all those who call themselves clinicians. In many states, the terms clinician, therapist or psychotherapist are unregulated terms and anyone, licensed by the state or not, may characterize themselves as such. As a result, listing in the CDC has several categories.

1. Registered Member: OnlineClinics.com only requires proof of a valid professional license before CDC listing is published. No further review is made. Registered members can not activate a web office, but are listed for FREE in the Clinician Directory. Visitors should investigate credentials of Registered (non-verified) clinicians listed directly.

2. Verified Member: OnlineClinics.com requires credentials verification of clinicians who wish to be listed as Verified and self-manage a web Office. 

3. Verified Supervisor: OnlineClinics.com allows Verified Members to also operate as clinical supervisors. Verified supervisors must make an application for that category as well as show supporting documentation.

4. Registered Student: OnlineClinics.com welcomes students. Students can benefit from AAOP membership as well as get FREE listing in the CDC. Registered students can not activate an interactive web office or serve the public, unless such operation is supervised by a licensed clinician who is clearly identified by name and contact details for clients.
